Praslin is a destination, best suited for those who really appreciate nature, since its generous vegetation and abounding wild life are such a fundamental part of the
islands identity.
The island is a tropical paradise with crystal-clear waters, granite rocks,
red soil, coral reefs, and palm-fringed beaches.
The Seychelles Islands have three common languages, creole, english and french.
how to get there....
Once you arrived on Mahé, the main Island, you have two choices to travel to Praslin. Either you take the Twin Otter, a small plane or the Cat Cocos speed catamaran.
If you go for option 1, please follow the signs to the nearby domestic airport, which is quickly reached by foot.
We recommend to book the domestic flight as soon as possible on www.airseychelles.com/en/home/index.php or any other site to ensure an equitable price. Once you checked in, you'll arrive on Praslin within 15 minutes, including a breathtaking view and a memorable, enjoyable flight.
Chez Marlin can be reached within 5 minutes by taxi or rented car.
At the international airport, a shuttle is offered to reach the Victoria harbour for the Cat Cocos catamaran with a charge of 10€ per person.
Within one hour you'll arrive at Baie St. Anne's small jetty.
We recommend to take a taxi of 15-20 minutes drive through the breathtaking, tropical forest hills to the other side of the island, where Chez Marlin is located.
